Designed for the surgical suite, the Quantra system can alert caretakers in near-real time, if a patient is clotting or bleeding, and what is influencing that trend.
Usability evaluations on a Field Trial Unit identified two high-risk areas that must be addressed:
Sample Loading: The current process presents a high probability of user error and must be simplified for greater reliability.
Data Presentation: The new format differs from what phlebotomists are accustomed to. Results must be clearly understandable, even without prior training.
We conduct Usability Evaluations on a Beta version of the product to learn from users, elevate the experience, and de-risk development.
Sample loading was refined through iterative usability testing, enhancing efficiency, clarity, and ergonomics while reducing errors.
